This year a total of 39 quota deer hunts are slated for 19 state wild- life management areas. In addi' tion, seven more quota deer hunts will also be held on seven state parks. If that is not enough, 21 quota firearms deer hunts will take place on TERRY IN. eight federal areas (e.g. national wildlife refuges, forts and a national seashore). Here is the information on how you can apply for quota hunts lined up for those areas that are within a short drive of your home. Hunters wishing to apply for a permit to engage in a firearms deer hunt that will take place on a state wildlife management area or state park must submit a quota hunt application online by 11:59 p.m. September 1.
