The point being that if you ban guns a person ird~t on h= ning people will still find a way to do it. I may be stupid, but rrn not an idiot. We'll have a lot of young 'uns on that field. Coach Nelson said them Gainesville boys will be a lot bigger than us. Hopefully our speed will overcome that. Did you know that Friday's game will be Mary Persons' only away game played on natural grass.'? The rest, Lovett, Spalding, Perry and Howard, will all be on fake grass. Bool I hate that stuff. Football was made to be played on God's green earth. Speaking of Mary Persons High School, reporter Diane Ghdewell tells us this week that they're getting new Wi-Fi over the holidays that will allow phones to work in the build- ing. Since it was built to withstand an F-5 tornado cell phones have never worked well inside the building. I guess teaching at MP is about to get a little harder as teachers compete with Instagram and Youtube for kids' attention. Meanwhile, my ole fishing buddy Don Daniel Js madder than Oprah Winfrey at a Weight Watchers meeting because some study showed that Forsyth has plenty of parking. Don's been saying for 30 years that there ain't nowhere to park in Forsyth. I just think Don doesn't like to walk more than 10 feet --- to anything. Mush, mush, Don, a little walk- ing won't kill ya! f Qualify by Friday to run for mayor, council Forsyth mayor Eric Wilson (above) qualified to run for re- election on Monday morning.
