Balintom Court woman
reports bullet damaged
vehicle outside home
A Balintore Court woman told
Sgt. Kirk Seckinger that someone
had shot the front passenger side
door of her 2016 Acura MDX.
The woman said she thought the
incident occurred between 9 p.m.
and 9:15 p.m. on July 25. She said
she and other neighbors heard
eight shots and said she thought
the shooter was traveling north-
bound on Rivoli Road, which is
about 50 feet from the rear of her
home. Seckinger found a bullet in
the front passenger door pocket,
and the bullet damaged the
vehicle's exterior and interior. He
took the bullet as evidence.
Jackson man arrested
after throwing bread
crumbs at father's face
A 31 -year-old white Jackson
man was arrested and charged
with criminal trespass and simple
battery after a dispute at his
parents' Hillcrest Lane home on
July 29. At about 10:49 a.m a
Hillcrest Lane woman told Deps.
Dustin Ramsey and Chris Sherrell
that while she and her husband
were on vacation they noticed
their drug-addicted son's phone
was indicating it was at their
home. The woman said her son
was supposed to be in drug rehab
but said when they returned
home they learned their son had
been terminated from rehab. The
woman's husband then discovered
the dash of his red 1992 Ford
Ranger had been tom apart and
wires were hanging from under
the steering column. He said there
was also ignition damage and
estimated the damage at about
$300. The woman's husband said
he then confronted their son, who
admitted to entering the truck
through a back sliding window
and causing the damage. The
son then realized his mother was
recording the conversation and
denied he did anything. He then
left the scene prior to deputies' ar-
rival. Later in the da ; dispatchers
notified Ramsey that the son had
returned to his parents' home and
threatened to bum it down. Dis-
patchers said the son also threw
bread crumbs in his father's face
before leaving on foot heading
toward Towaliga South Road. The
son then returned to his parents'
home a third time, and Ramsey
arrested him inside the home.
While en route to the Monroe
County Jail, Ramsey told the son
he would be permanently banned
from his parents' home.
Woman reportedly
defecates in driveway
of Worsham Rd. home
At about 11:52 a.m. on July
29, a Worsham Road man told
Dep. Jaleel Brown that when he
returned home that morning he
found an unknown black woman
defecating in his driveway. The
man said when the woman
saw him, she began to wipe her
buttocks with toilet paper and
then threw the toilet paper onto
the ground. The man said the
woman then got inside her black
2014 Toyota Camry and left. He
said he tried to block her in, but
she got past him. However, the
man was able to get her car's tag
number, and Brown determined
the woman has a Gordon address.
Brown tried to call the woman but
was unable to reach her.
