A resident of Virginia Strcet::.:
reported her redDodge Caravan
had been stolen from her drive-,
way on June 24, Her husband had a.m4 and it had been 11:20 a.m.
parked it in their driveway and when officers first made contact
left the keys inside. Major George with her. ofthe children in
the vehide had special needs,
and officers found the woman
had two more children with
specifil needs inside the dental
office with her. Officers called
Monroe County DFCS who took
the children to their offices after
their appointments. They decided
not .to press charges against the
mother, saying she had become
overwhelmed while trying to find
a place inside the clinic for all of
the children and made an error in
her judgment.
Woman reports rodent
infestation at home on
St. Luke Methodist lot
On June 28, a woman reported
a large amount of undergrowth
and a rodent infestation at a
house on St. Luke Methodist
Church property. Major George
Foster was unable to reach the
woman who made the complaint,
but he did go to the-head steward
of the church about the problems.

A Forsyth woman reported on
June 28 that a rock from a city
truck hadcracked her wind-

The driver of the truck told the
woman to contact his supervisor,

Major GeorgeFoster was waved and DeF jaleel Brown then found
down on July 3 by a Union Hill inside the rear cupholder a pill

their car. Foster was able to dis-
tract the dog long enough for the
family to leave, then turned the
case over to animal control.

A 38-year-old white man and
a 31-year-old white woman,
both of Fostoria, Ohio, were
each arrested and charged with
possession of a controlled sub,
stance, possession of drug related
objects and drugs not in original
container after a traffic stop on
1-75 South on June 28. At about
3:58 p.m Cp1. Thomas Haskim
saw a red 1998 Ford Explorer
with an Ohio license plate follow-
ing another vehicle too dosdy on
1-75 South near mile marker 188.
Haskins saw the.SUV drift into
pills inside that were suspected
Hydrocodone and amphetamine,
respectively. Deputies also found
behind the front passenger seat
a methamphetamine pipe and
a container of methamphet-
amine. Both the driver and the
passengers denied knowing
about the drugs. Haskins then
discovered the suv's tag came
back to a Ford Taurus, and the
driver told Haskins his mother
must have gotten the two tags
"mixed up." The front seat pas-
senger, a 15-year-ol& was taken
to the Monroe County C.A.R.E.
Cottage while the driver and the
seat passenger were taken
to the Monroe County Jail The
driver was also charged with
failure to maintain lane, follow-
ing too closely, misrepresenting a
vehide with an incorrect license
plate and driving while license
suspended.
