CORRECTION
An incident report entitled 'Edwards Road resident re-
ports brother swung knife during dispute' that appeared
on Page 4B in the June 19 Reporter contained erroneous
information about the identity of the perpetrator accused
of aggravated assault. The person referred to as the
"brother" in the incident should have been identified as the
"nephew" and the accused man's age should have been
listed as 48 instead of 70. The Reporter regrets the error.

New Providence Baptist Church had more than 170 kids in
Vacation Bible School last week. Senior pastor the Rev. Brian
Moore took a pie in the face after his team was outdone by
the team of children's pastor Casey Robinson in a missions fun-
draising competition. Robinson's team raised more than $1,000
for Monroe County's Backpack Buddies. Moore's team raised

y husband Larry Ham wasn't able to walk and was in great
pain while recovering from recent spinal fusion surgery. So
Coliseum Northside Hospital arranged for him to be
moved to the swing bed unit at Monroe County Hospital. When we
arrived, staffwas there waiting with a wheelchair to move him to a
room that would be our home for the next six days. They even
bed in the room for me to stay with him every night. The
kept him waiting for pain meds when he requested them.
