A missing 15-year-old Monroe County girl was found in
Butts County on Tuesday, April 16 after being missing for
nearly a week. Ashley Gibson, 15, had been discovered
missing from her parents' Old Rumble Road home on the
morning of Thursday, April 11. Sheriff's office spokeswoman
Anna Lewis said they got a tip that she was in Butts
County, which led to her being found.
