Charlie is now
seven years old,
and she has been
the fixture at the
store since she
was an 8-week-
old puppy.
Now that
the
VICKI SMITH
bird, but otherwise is very
low key. Melissa says she
loves kids, especially the
two Mathis children. She
allows them to climb all
over her and
even pull her
ears.
I asked Me-
lissa how Charlie
deals with the
dog treat aisle in
the store with all
those varieties
and tantalizing
smells. Mdissa
laughed and said
