Reads with Ferst, a chapter of Ferst
Readers, Inc. Funds will be used
to provide quality, age appropriate
books for children, birth to age five,
mailed to them at home every month.
Recognizing that 61 percent of low-.
income families do not have even
one age-appropriate book for their
child in the home, this early startwill
build basic literacy skills and improve
school readiness for low-income
children.

donated amount averages about 50
cents per month for each participat-
