on Sunday in
Asheville, N.C.
in the finals of
the Southern
Conference tourna-
ment, clinching
the league's auto-
matic bid to March
Madness.
Mercer, 30-2
overall (17-0 in
the SoCon), will
enter the NCAA
Tournament on
a school-record
27-game winning

play in an NCAA
Tournament since Tennessee's
LaToya Davis in 2004.
